ANTONIO MICHAEL DOWNING
Antonio Michael Downing began his writing career with the novella MOLASSES in 2010 (Blaurock Press) and followed this up with his critically acclaimed memoir SAGA BOY in 2021 (Penguin Random House / Milkweed Editions).
He has been praised for his visceral, lyrical prose which is both profoundly thoughtful and sensually gripping. His children's book STARS IN MY CROWN (Tundra Books) and his novel LITTLE ORPHAN BLUE is due on Scribner Canada in 2024.
